Rotate for one-on-one talks: Approximately 10 minutes with each participant
Matching & Selection Session
(15 min)
Submit your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices. After the final count, matching results will be released, and newly formed couples will receive each other’s contact information.

About us
The Team Behind Koikoi
Koikoi began in Tokyo in 2025, hosting small matchmaking events for people who'd grown tired of dating apps. Since then we've run 71 events across Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka, and watched 313 couples come out of them.
We're now bringing the same approach to Australia and New Zealand, where we think the case is even stronger: a generation of warm, curious, open-minded people who've never quite had a place built for them to meet.
Andrew
Director
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Monash University in Melbourne, and has spent years as an entrepreneur and corporate management professional. He combines his analytical background in finance with that hands-on business leadership to redefine the standards of social matching — under his direction, Koikoi guarantees a premier experience driven by verification and excellence.
Andrew met his wife here in Australia and has been happily married ever since — a quiet reminder of why this work matters to him.
Ken
CFO & CTO
Ken holds an MBA from NYU Stern and spent his career at PwC in New York — advising private equity, hedge fund, and real estate clients on the finance side, and leading software and infrastructure teams on the technical side. He brings that dual expertise to Koikoi’s technology and finance functions.
Outside of work, Ken is passionate about learning different cultures and connecting people across diverse backgrounds — the perspective that shapes how Koikoi brings its community together.
Kyuha
CEO
Kyuha is from Seoul, Korea, and a graduate of Seoul National University. After five years in Korea’s finance industry, he built a wide network of intelligent, sincere men — thoughtful in character and stable in their lives — and turned that network into the foundation of Koikoi.
Believing that Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand are all full of wonderful people genuinely looking for serious relationships, he founded Koikoi to help them find each other. Now he’s bringing that same work here to Australia, where the same warm, sincere connections are waiting to happen. Every applicant is carefully introduced through trusted personal networks.

We primarily welcome singles aged 20 to 39 who are looking for a genuine and serious relationship. Our goal is to create a community of like-minded individuals at similar life stages. -

Not at all! While many of our participants are from diverse backgrounds, the primary language for interaction is English. It's all about the willingness to connect! -
03 Are there any requirements regarding visa status or occupation?
No. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to find love. Regardless of your visa type (Student, Graduate, Working Holiday, or Permanent Resident) or your profession, you are more than welcome to apply. We value your personality and sincerity above all else. -
04 How do you ensure the safety and quality of the event?
Safety is our top priority. We operate on a screening-based system. We review applications to ensure all participants are single (never married) and are looking for serious connections. This creates a secure and trustworthy environment for everyone. -
05 Is there a dress code for the event?
There is no strict dress code, but we recommend Smart Casual. Wearing something that makes you feel confident and comfortable will help you enjoy the conversations even more. -
06 Will food and drinks be provided?
We typically provide light refreshments and drinks (non-alcoholic/alcoholic depending on the venue). For a full meal, we recommend having a light bite before you arrive so you can focus entirely on meeting new people! -
07 What is your cancellation and refund policy?
We understand that plans can change. Full refunds are available if you cancel at least 7 days prior to the event. Please note that cancellations made within 6 days of the event are non-refundable to ensure a balanced gender ratio for all attendees.
